Bury Associates Limited are one of the UK’s leading survey companies specialising in laser scanning, Reality Capture and BIM. This is a great opportunity for a Land & Measured Building Surveyor with at least 10 years’ experience of the UK survey market to join our team at Project Manager level.

The role will involve organising projects, managing staff, pricing jobs, dealing directly with clients and being fully involved with the management team in the day to day running of the business.

If you wish to apply for this position, you must be competent at operating modern survey equipment and preferably be experienced with, or have a keen interest in learning to use, laser scanners and point cloud registration software. You must also have a good working knowledge of AutoCAD and modern survey processing software, be self-motivated with good communication and administrative skills and be willing to embrace new software and technologies.

Much of our work involves laser scanning buildings to produce Revit Building Information Models (BIM); the successful candidate will be expected to become thoroughly involved in this area and to help us develop it further.

Skills & Qualifications

  • At least 10 years surveying experience of Topographical and Measured Building Surveys.
  • Ideally candidates will have a recognised survey related qualification.
  • Knowledge of Faro laser scanners and Faro Scene software, Trimble Robotic Total Stations and GPS is preferred.
  • Good knowledge of MicroStation, AutoCAD and modern survey processing software is essential.
  • Candidates must have a full, clean driving licence.

This position would be based at our office in Worcester but the successful candidate must be prepared to travel and work throughout the UK and be suitably flexible to suit our dynamic work practices.

Candidates should ideally live locally to our office or be prepared to relocate.

Only candidates with at least 10 years of experience working in the UK land survey market will be considered for this role.
