The Blackpool Tower re-opens after its major refurbishment. All of the work was based on the surveys and Revit models produced by Bury Associates.

26/08/11 Having nearly completed the Revit survey of a school in the northeast of England, we’ve now been commissioned to survey and provide a Revit model of an 8 storey university building in the same area. It’s now all hands on deck to get the whole building scanned before the start of the new semester.
04/07/11 We’ve just welcomed our latest team member at Bury Associates, Scott Craddock. Scott has some great experience in laser scanning and has hit the ground running and carried out topographical and measured building surveys in his first week with us.

21/06/11 Ryder Architecture and Northumbria University have launched the BIM Academy. The BIM Academy is a centre of excellence that undertaking Research, Development, Education, and Consultancy. It promotes best practice, collaboration and innovation in BIM and IPD (Integrated Project Delivery) supporting the transformation of the construction industry. Bury Associates surveyed the library for Ryder and provided them with a full Revit BIM model as the deliverable.
