Our: History

More than 20 years of Quality and Reliability

Bury Associates Limited was established in 1997 by Steve Bury. His aim was to provide a top quality service to clients needing topographical and measured building surveys throughout the UK.

The company has grown steadily over the years and now includes surveyors, CAD operators, dedicated BIM specialists and administrative staff.

"We pride ourselves in being an innovative company, always using the latest and best survey equipment available and priding ourselves on excellent customer service." Steve Bury, MD

Bury Associates have use the latest robotic survey instruments and laser scanners allowing even large sites to be surveyed extremely quickly and accurately. Surveys are enhanced by using network GPS to place projects onto precise Ordnance Survey co-ordinates and datum.

Right from the start 3D data has formed an important part of the company's output - from the 3D AutoCAD models produced in the late 1990s of the M5/M6 interchange through to today's highly detailed Revit Building Information Models supplied to some of the UK's leading architects and engineers.

Having a 3D survey for our project has been invaluable! It has allowed us to fully understand the complexities of the building from within the office, reducing site visits and queries through the design process. We have also been able to present the 3D model to the client; from existing to demolition to extension.

Andrew Wilde, Pozzoni

We have used Bury Associates on numerous occasions finding them very reliable and efficient.

Tristram Dodwell, Hampson Williams

Following the experience gained on the Central Library project, I can confirm that the project team and I would have no hesitation in recommending Bury Associates for other work.
